Uno de los pocos insectos que podremos ver al final del invierno es la mariquita de siete puntos, coccinella septempunctata, que hiberna en los recovecos de los arbustos de hoja perenme. La verdad es que es f’acil empatizar con esta especie cuando vemos alguna como esta, aprovechando la poca fuerza del sol de febrero, ya activa, aunque poco, y sin pulg’on alguno en las plantas aun, su alimento favorito.  Madrid, España. One of the few insects that we will be able to see at the end of winter is the seven-spot ladybird, Coccinella septempunctata, which hibernates in the recesses of evergreen shrubs. The truth is that it is easy to empathize with this species when we see one like this, taking advantage of the low strength of the February sun, already active, although little, and without any aphids on the plants yet, its favorite food.
